About Me
I am a former secondary English teacher with both a BA & MA in English and Alternate Class A Certification at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. I am now a fulltime Academic Coach with over 23 years experience as a writing tutor. I tutor the following subjects: English (6-12), History (6-12), Writing (6th-Post-Graduate School), AP Literature, AP Language, AP US History, AP World History, AP European History, and AP Human Geography. For the past 4 years, I have taught, coached, and written curriculum for ACT Prep English and ACT Prep Reading. I have a keen interest in student growth as both effective readers and communicators.
While Early Modern and Middle English is my literary passion, I am also drawn to Drama and modern world literature. However, it is composition and rhetoric that holds my heart.
